Sienna Richardson, Psychotherapist
Sienna is a somatic therapist with extensive experience in trauma recovery, embodiment, group process, and programme development across specialist clinical services and community settings. Her work is grounded in somatic and trauma-informed relational therapy, informed by body psychotherapy, nervous system theory, attachment, nature-based practice, and mindful movement.
Sienna has worked with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, attachment and relational challenges, and eating disorders, offering both one-to-one and group-based therapy. Alongside her clinical practice, she has held senior leadership roles within clinically led organisations, where she has designed and embedded trauma-informed models of care, developed therapeutic pathways, and supported multidisciplinary teams through supervision, training, and strategic guidance.
Sienna’s wider work spans retreat and programme leadership, and strategic consultancy. She has designed and led trauma-informed retreats internationally, including work with the US Military IRON Programme, and held senior programme leadership roles within retreat and wellbeing organisations. She is also the founder of The Girlness Project, through which she delivered wellbeing programmes for girls and young women in schools and international educational settings.
Known for her collaborative, relationally attuned approach, Sienna brings a grounded and compassionate presence to all aspects of her work. She is deeply committed to creating psychologically safe environments that support meaningful personal and systemic change, and to advancing innovative, person-centred approaches to mental health care.
