Dr Romayne Gadelrab, Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Romayne Gadelrab is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with a special interest in neurodiversity, complex mood disorders, and behavioural addictions. She offers treatment to adults seeking comprehensive, evidence-based support for emotional, cognitive, and behavioural challenges, with a focus on personalised, thoughtful care.
Dr Gadelrab’s practice combines rigorous diagnostic insight with a warm, non-judgemental approach, valued by clients navigating high-functioning presentations of ADHD, anxiety, or burnout. She is also one of the few psychiatrists with a specialist clinical interest in problematic gaming behaviours and internet use, offering nuanced assessments and interventions in this emerging area, particularly where it intersects with ADHD, social withdrawal, or mood instability.
Dr Gadelrab plays a leading role in Soke Women, an initiative within The Soke that provides tailored, psychologically informed care for women. Through this work, she addresses the unique mental health challenges faced by women in high-performance environments, including burnout, emotional dysregulation, neurodivergent traits, and the psychological impact of invisibility or role conflict.
Her approach is integrative and client-focused. She provides full psychiatric assessments, diagnostic clarification, and treatment planning - including medication management where appropriate - always delivered in a clear, collaborative, and compassionate manner.
She was a Founding Chair, and remains on the Executive Committee, of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Digital Psychiatry Special Interest Group.
