Olivia Maree McMahon, Psychotherapist

Olivia is an integrative therapist who works with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She provides a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

Alongside her general therapeutic practice, Olivia has a particular interest in supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders, body image concerns, and difficulties in their relationship with food. As part of the Eating Disorders team at Soke Wimbledon, she works with clients navigating recovery from binge eating, bulimia, body dysmorphia, and other disordered eating patterns.

Taking a client-centred and evidence-based approach, Olivia draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Enhanced CBT (CBT-E), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), MANTRA, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Her work is also informed by Health at Every Size (HAES) principles, promoting self-compassion, body acceptance, and overall wellbeing.

Olivia holds a Diploma in Counselling and has over 300 hours of private, clinical, and supervised counselling experience across both individual and group therapy settings. She is currently working towards accreditation with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and offers online therapy sessions for adults across the UK.

Olivia is passionate about helping clients build resilience, improve their emotional wellbeing, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves. She supports clients in navigating life's challenges with greater confidence, self-understanding, and psychological flexibility.
