Gabriele McErlean, Psychotherapist 

Gabriele is an experienced psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and groupwork practitioner with a specialism in eating disorders, trauma, adult mental health and complex emotional difficulties. She works with individuals, groups and organisations, offering an integrative approach that weaves together psychodynamic, analytic and embodied ways of working.

With over ten years’ experience in the UK and internationally, Gabriele has worked across NHS, private and third‑sector services. Her background includes specialist eating disorder services, inpatient and day programmes, acute and forensic mental health settings, women’s trauma services, and child and family work. She is experienced in multidisciplinary environments and regularly supports clinicians through supervision, reflective practice and leadership roles.

Gabriele is particularly interested in attachment, identity, loss, life transitions and relationships. She is passionate about creating calm, containing spaces where difficult experiences can be held with care and curiosity. At the heart of her work is a strong belief in the therapeutic relationship as a powerful foundation for understanding, growth and meaningful change.
