Denise Stergoulis, Integrative Psychotherapist
As an Integrative Therapist, Denise works with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health and emotional wellbeing challenges. While she specialises in substance addiction and is particularly experienced in complex and high-risk cases, her practice extends across anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, stress, anger management, grief and loss, self-harm, and relationship difficulties.
Drawing on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Integrative Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and Equine-Assisted Therapy, Denise tailors treatment to each individual’s needs. She helps clients gain insight into long-standing patterns, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Outside of The Soke, Denise is Lead Addictions Equine Assisted Therapist at Operation Centaur in Richmond, where she integrates traditional psychotherapy with equine-assisted interventions to support recovery, emotional awareness and personal development. She previously worked at The Priory Hospital, Roehampton, gaining extensive experience in both mental health and addiction treatment across individual and group settings.
