Client Services Team
Clients who come to The Soke are looked after by our Client Services Team, whose role is to ensure the optimal experience for all those who come into contact with our organisation, and who operate under the supervision of The Soke’s CEO, Maryam Meddin.
The team are there to help clients navigate the various options that are available and appropriate to meet their needs. Internally, they act on behalf of the client, ensuring suitability and efficacy of every treatment course and being the client’s in-house advocate throughout their relationship with The Soke.

There is no fee applicable to time spent with our Client Services Team, whose main purpose is to ensure that those seeking to make decisions about their behavioural wellbeing can do so from a well-informed perspective.
Low-lit Relaxation Pods
5 of our 10 consulting rooms come with a low-lit, quiet relaxation pod, enabling clients to relax for up to 40 minutes after their sessions. Our pods also serve as a private space for those who may not wish to wait for their appointment in the lounge.
A parent who is waiting for their child’s appointment to be completed is also free to spend some unwinding time in the pod during their wait. They will need to be approved for use of the pod by their child’s practitioner in advance of the appointment.
In addition to providing a calm, quiet space for relaxation, the pods are also used for delivery of Alpha-Stim therapy for those suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression or insomnia. Alpha-Stim is an NHS/NICE approved hand-held device that delivers microcurrents to the brain via small clips worn on your earlobes and is proven to be safe and effective. The Soke makes this service available to its clients for free.
Clients are welcome not only to take advantage of the pod and the Alpha-Stim device following their scheduled session with their psychotherapist, but also to book other appointments through the week to ‘top up’ their Alpha-Stim therapy at no charge. It’s all part of the service.
